Qualcomm has introduced Raspberry Pi-sized “DragonBoard 410c” SBC that runs on both Android and Linux operating systems. The SBC is equipped with quad-core Cortex-A53-based Snapdragon 410 and it offers WiFi, BT and GPS.

This is the second single board computer from Qualcomm Technologies which complies with 96Boards Consumer Edition hardware specification from new 96Boards.org community project and standards organisation. It follows the project's flagship CircuitCo-built HiKey board which also supports both Android and Linux. HiKey is the world's first 64-bit, ARMv8 hacker board. The new SBC won't ship until summer though.

The 96Boards Consumer Edition uses the smaller footprint like HiKey and offers specified 40- and 60-pin expansion connectors for stackable boards. 96Boards.org offers specs for small-footprint 32- and 64-bit Cortex-A boards based on a number of different ARM SoCs. DragonBoard 410c supports Snapdragon 410 SoC with portions of DDR3 and eMMC memories as well as a microSD slot. No Ethernet port is available though.

It further includes an HDMI port, a 13MP camera interface, two USB 2.0 host ports and a micro-USB 2.0 device port. The SBC is said to support Arduino boards via a mezzanine board. More information could be found on the official product page
