Google has announced the expansion of its availability of several Nexus and Android Wear devices to new markets through the Google Store. Good news for Indian consumers is that they can now buy Nexus 6, Nexus 9, and Chromecast directly from the Google Play Store.
The Nexus 9 and Nexus 6 devices, which were formerly listed as ‘coming soon’ on Google Play Store in India, are now available for purchase.
Users can order the Nexus 6 (32GB) for Rs. 44,000 and the Nexus 9 starting at Rs. 28,900. As a reminder, Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 have also been on sale in India through Flipkart and Amazon respectively for various weeks, but earlier the devices were not available on the Google Store. Google has also listed the 64GB version of Nexus 6 with a price-tag of INR 49,000, but it is currently out of stock.
Consumers in UK can now buy the Asus-made Nexus Player from Google Store for GBP 79.99. Similarly, the consumers in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Norway, and Portugal can grab the Motorola-made Nexus 6 smartphone from the store.
Apart from the Nexus devices, google has also started selling the Asus ZenWatch via Google Store in Australia and Italy. Lastly, Google has added the listings for Yellow Sony SmartWatch 3 strap and Asus ZenWatch charger in the US.
